Syeda Henna Babar Ali has already authored four books of poetry; Wet Sun, Midnight Dialogue, Dream and Reality and The Luminous Path.

Her new books are, To Discover The Unknown and Raushan Kinara her first book of spiritual Urdu poetry. Her poems have been published in Asiaweek, Mindus Artium, Connexions, Journal of Commonwealth Literature; locally in The Pakistan Times, Dawn, The News, and Din. She is a recipient of Houghton Mufflin Best Poetry Award, Spring 1985, the Best English Poet Award, Bolan Cultural Academy 2002. In 2007 she was awarded the Fatima Jinnah Gold Medal in recognition of her contribution to English Poetry. She is president of Pen Pakistan Center which encourages young writers and gives first book awards.  She is married, has one daughter, lives in Lahore, writes poetry, composes music  and works at Packages Limited.
